Ergo is seeking an IT Security Manager for a permanent hybrid role with a market-leading client in Galway .As IT Security Manager you will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and information assets by implementing and maintaining security measures across the entire IT environment.Candidates should have a diverse skill set with experience around network, systems and information security and good grasp of standards such as ISO***** and NIS2.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM and / or CEH are desirable.What will you do?Implement and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures (ISO*****, NIS2).Conduct regular system audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability testing.Collaborate with all departments to promote best security practices.Oversee a team to Monitor, analyse, and respond to security alerts and incidents.Ensure network security is in line with market standards using firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection platform, and encryption tools.Oversee the management of the system backups and DR procedures.Detecting, analysing, and responding to security breaches.Log analysis and digital forensicsYou should have experience in the following:IT Security standards such as ISO***** and NIS2Network and endpoint security, identity management, and compliance standards.SIEM tools and incident response workflowsVendor managementCloud access security brokers (CASBs)Cloud Security and Azure & AWS security best practices.The following certification is desirable:Bachelor's DegreeCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).CompTIA Security+.GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC).Apply today for more info.
