Job Title Production Supervisor Job Locations County Cavan Salary €50K - €55K BOE About the Role: A leading Manufacturing company based in County Cavan are currently on the lookout for Production Supervisor required for a growing manufacturing business.
You will be working with a successful manufacturing business who pride themselves on providing a high-quality service to customers and staff where you will be responsible for managing a large team to meet the requirements of production plan and overseeing any issues.
The right candidate will have experience within a similar role ideally within a manufacturing / engineering environment and will report directly to the Production Manager and will be shift Rotation Monday to Friday week 1 6am 2pm, week 2 2pm 10pm.
Roles & Responsibilities Include: Production Supervisor for planning and overseeing effective execution of all Production operations on shift.
Proactively manage the team to meet daily/weekly production plan demand.
Assessing project and resource requirements.
Ensure there is a comprehensive program of continuous improvement in place to improve quality, performance, efficiency and reduce costs through structured problem- solving activities (5s and Lean Projects) in line with the companies Quality Policies and systems.
Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers.
Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
Overseeing production processes.
Monitor KPIs, health and safety regulations, team budgets and more Working with the general manager, transport manager and purchasing manager to ensure the smooth running of the business.
Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods Transportation requirements Maintaining GMP / Housekeeping at a high level at all times.
Managing process and material flows.
Skills/Qualifications Required: 3+ years experience within a similar role ideally within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
Managerial/supervisory /team leader experience.
A lean manufacturing background or a strong focus on continuous improvement.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in line with company requirements.
Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
Working knowledge of SAP Systems is an advantage.
