Our client, a leading name in food manufacturing, is looking for a Production Supervisor to join their growing team in Naas, Co. Kildare.

The Role: As a Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the production floor.
You will lead a dedicated team, drive efficiency, and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the Production Team - Guide and motivate your team to meet daily production targets, ensuring efficiency and quality at all times.
Drive Performance - Monitor production metrics (output, waste, yield, efficiency) and implement strategies to maximise results.
Ensure High Standards - Maintain strict adherence to health & safety protocols, quality systems (including HACCP, CCPs), and cleanliness on the production floor.
Team Development - Conduct regular team appraisals, provide training, and ensure all team members are up-to-date on SOPs and safety procedures.
Problem-Solving - Address any production issues that arise, working closely with management and other departments to resolve them quickly.
Continuous Improvement - Analyse data such as downtime, waste, and non-conformances to identify areas for process improvements and lead change initiatives.
What We're Looking For: Experience - Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally within food or FMCG sectors.
Leadership - Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop a team in a fast-paced setting.
Quality and Safety Knowledge - Solid understanding of health & safety practices, quality control, and food safety standards.
Problem-Solving Ability - Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges while maintaining focus on production goals.
IT Proficiency - Comfortable using production management software, along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Adaptability - A flexible, proactive approach to leadership, with the ability to adjust and respond to changing production needs.
