Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dynamic Conference and Banqueting Manager to join the team of a leading hotel in Kildare. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional to oversee exceptional events and ensure every guest experience is truly memorable. What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Conference and Banqueting Manager or in a similar role in the hospitality industry. Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet event schedules Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of conference and banqueting operations, ensuring flawless execution of events. Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service at every stage. Work directly with clients to understand their requirements and customise event experiences. Oversee event setups, staffing, and service to ensure efficiency and attention to detail. Monitor budgets, control costs, and maximise profitability while maintaining quality standards. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other departments to create a seamless guest experience. As Conference and Banqueting Manager, you will take charge of all events hosted at the hotel, including weddings, corporate functions, and special occasions. You'll lead the team to deliver seamless service, manage the day-to-day operations of the department, and work closely with clients to ensure their vision is brought to life.
