(NASDAQ:ADI) is a global semiconductor leader that bridges the physical and digital worlds to enable breakthroughs at the Intelligent Edge.ADI combines analog, digital, and software technologies into solutions that help drive advancements in digitized factories, mobility, and digital healthcare, combat climate change, and reliably connect humans and the world.With revenue of more than $9 billion in FY24 and approximately 24,000 people globally, ADI ensures today's innovators stay Ahead of What's Possible.Learn more atand onLinkedInandTwitter (X).Group Description:The Precision Amplifiers Group develops next generation precision IC solutions for a broad range of industrial, instrumentation and multi markets.The Scientific Instruments end market is focused on transforming molecules into insights in applications such as food safety, air and water quality, drug discovery and development as well as genetic sciences.To support these businesses, our teams of silicon designers, verification, test, eval and product engineers create highly integrated solutions that enable innovations for a wide variety of applications.Position:The Precision Amplifier Group is seeking an experienced Senior level Product Engineer to join our team in Limerick, Ireland.The candidate will drive the post-silicon phase of product development from first silicon bring-up, through correlation, characterization, qualification, release to manufacturing and throughout the life cycle of the product.The ideal candidate would have a strong background in amplifiers, analog circuits, reliability testing, fab process, test engineering and bench validation.Roles & Responsibilities:Create and execute test plans against a set of product requirements and specifications.Oversee qualification testing of new product and package technologies per Joint Electron Device Engineering Council (JEDEC) standards such as High Temp Operating Life (HTOL), Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and Latch-Up, Highly Accelerated Stress Test (HAST), Biased High Accelerated Stress Test (BHAST), Preconditioning and Solder-Heat Resistance testing, High Temp Storage, and Temperature Cycle testing reliability tests.Analyze manufacturing statistics to perform correlation analysis between fab process and yield.Oversee and interpret failure analysis of yield/process issues utilizing common de-processing techniques, electron microscopy, energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy, focused ion beam and standard failure analysis methods.Review and implement statistical process controls to identify process deviations involving tool discrepancies.Collaborate with fab process engineers to identify root cause and implement fixes to resolve performance and/or yield issues.Perform rigorous characterization data analysis using statistical methodologies for silicon characterization.Monitor manufacturing (sort, assembly, test) yields versus expected yield, and implement yield improvement and cost reduction solutions in production.Integrate the activities of global cross-functional teams including Test Engineering, Applications, Design, Design Verification, Project Management, Manufacturing and Marketing teams to develop products from design through release and high-volume production.• Demonstrate solid oral, written, and presentation communication skills to efficiently communicate across a global organization where success is highly dependent on collaboration and effective communicationQualifications:BS or MS degree in EE or ECE or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)5+ years of experience as a Product Engineer or related disciplineProven track record of leadership and mentorship of young engineersExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams spanning multiple time zones.Strong analytical skills and an understanding of statistical analysis.Ability to solve complex problems through design of appropriate experiments.Strong organizational skills and the ability to work to aggressive schedules.Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.Leads by example and commitment.#LI-CO1For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce -
