Role:Business Analyst - Life & Pensions (L&P)Location:Dublin (Hybrid 6-8 days onsite per month)Type:PermanentSalary:€70,000 - €90,000 BenefitsAbout the Role:We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the Life & Pensions (L&P) sector to join our growing team.You'll play a key role in analysing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and driving improvements across complex insurance and pensions systems.We're looking for experienced Business Analysts with strong Life and Pensions sector expertise to support key platform and transformation programmes.The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in Life and Pensions migration, transition, and transformation projects, along with a solid understanding of L&P products.You'll have a proven ability to deliver key business analysis artefacts-including requirements documentation, process mapping, functional specifications, and gap analysis.Successful candidates will be confident engaging with stakeholders, driving clarity across complex change initiatives, and ensuring all analysis outputs align with programme standards.Experience in large-scale transformation or migration projects within Life and Pensions is highly desirable.About the Organisation and L&P Function:Our organisation is a global provider of technology-enabled solutions and services for the financial services and insurance sectors.The Life & Pensions (L&P) function delivers end-to-end administration, technology, and business process services to life assurance and pensions providers-covering policy administration, customer servicing, and digital transformation.Using modern platforms such as Percana and other leading L&P systems, the team supports clients in modernising legacy operations, enhancing regulatory compliance, and improving customer experience.The L&P function combines deep industry expertise with advanced automation and analytics to deliver efficient, compliant, and customer-focused outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Work with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to elicit, document, and validate business and system requirements.Analyse existing L&P processes, identify improvements, and support the design and implementation of new solutions.Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories.Support testing, validation, and change management activities.Ensure all deliverables align with agreed programme standards and timelines.Provide subject matter expertise on life & pensions products, policy administration, and regulatory frameworks.Skills & Experience Required:Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the Life & Pensions industry.Strong understanding of life assurance, pensions administration, annuities, and related products.Experience with Percana, Life400, or similar L&P systems is highly desirable.Skilled in producing requirements documentation, process maps, and functional specifications.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Experience in migration, transition, or large-scale transformation programmes.Familiarity with FCA, PRA, and Solvency II regulatory frameworks is an advantage.Disclaimer:Notwithstanding any guidelines given to level of experience sought, we will consider candidates from outside this range if they can demonstrate the necessary competencies.Square One is acting as both an employment agency and an employment business, and is an equal opportunities recruitment business.Square One embraces diversity and will treat everyone equally.Please see our website for our full diversity statement.#J-*****-Ljbffr
