The Role:
We are looking for a confident and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team, with a primary focus on managing payroll processes for our EMEA entities with additional duties in Australia.
This is a fast-paced role that requires someone who is comfortable with tight deadlines, high levels of accuracy, and working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for payroll and benefit-related queries, and will play a crucial part in ensuring compliant and efficient payroll delivery.
What you'll be doing:
Processing monthly payrolls to include Ireland, UK , Portugal, Netherlands usingADP WorkforceNow and/or GlobalView
Ensuring accurate payroll calculations, deductions, and benefits processing
Ensure payroll compliance with local labour laws, social security, tax regulations, and statutory filings.
Preparing finalised payroll reports for the Finance team on a regular basis
Support payroll-related month-end close activities including payroll journal entries and reconciliations.
Liaising with our benefit providers such as Irish Life, Decare Dental, BUPA, Napier Lane.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to streamline and improve payroll processes
Assist with year-end processes including P60s (UK), P45s, P11Ds, and annual declarations for Belgium, Portugal, and Ireland.
Querying and resolving discrepancies with ADP or internal contacts as needed
Maintaining and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for payroll tasks
Suggest and support process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
What we're looking for:
2-6 years' experience as a Payroll Specialist / Administrator
Experience with ADP platforms (WorkforceNow and/or GlobalView/Celergo)
Solid experience processing payroll in both UK and Ireland
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines consistently
Experience liaising with internal stakeholders and external benefit providers
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (three days per week in office)
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset
Bonus Points for:
Experience processing payroll for Germany, Portugal, The Netherlandsor North America.
