Description of Role: Early years educator Rate €16.25 Immediate start Magic Years Creche and preschool are currently recruiting for a Early Years Educator to join our team in Carpenterstown. Please visit our website to learn more about our service. Requirements: Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent is essential. Good communication skills is essential. Experience working in an early years setting is an advantage. Key Duties & Responsibilities: To work as part of a team providing child care and learning opportunities that promotes a childs physical, emotional, social and intellectual development in a safe and caring environment. To work with Magic Years model and standards of best practice and to abide by the policies and procedures of Magic Years. Assist with the daily operations at Magic Years. To attend to the care and education needs of our SNA client for the time periods agreed. In relation to general duties to provide a safe environment for the children by removing all potential risks and hazards directly or by reporting same immediately to your manager/supervisor. To participate in the delivery of our curriculum under guidance from your supervisor/manager. To foster supporting relationships with children, staff and parents based on trust, transparency respect and honesty free of prejudice and favouritism. To keep all records for which you are responsible accurate, legible and up to date. To report to management any issues of concern that may be of concern.
