Shape the future of learning at Novartis by leading the development of an enterprise-wide learning framework, driving process excellence, and aligning initiatives with strategic goals.
As a process expert and learning governance leader, you'll optimize workflows, oversee the One Novartis Learning Portfolio, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to enhance learning outcomes.
Manage cross-functional relationships, learning financials, and supplier partnerships while fostering innovation and aligning global learning strategies.
Job Description
Major Accountabilities:
Develop and implement learning standards, processes, and guidelines.
Maintain learning processes as the Global Process Manager and Global Process Owner delegate.
Execute strategic learning projects and ensure timely completion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for alignment with organizational goals.
Manage the ONLP, ensuring high-quality services and effective supplier collaboration.
Oversee financial management and learning portfolio strategy.
Implement learning impact measurement frameworks.
Manage the Enterprise Learning Board and Unit Learning Councils, fostering innovation and collaboration.
Ensure adherence to governance mechanisms and operationalize the learning framework.
Drive strategic initiatives and align learning with business strategy.
Experience Required
Essential
Strong experience in managing learning portfolios and financial management.
Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Proven track record in identifying and collaborating with high value-add external suppliers.
Strong experience in developing and implementing learning frameworks.
Proven track record in establishing enterprise-wide learning standards.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Experience in change management, including mindset shifting of leaders, stakeholders, and associates.
Experience partnering with the business/functions on strategic capabilities, skills, and learning initiatives.
Desirable
Extensive experience in corporate training, learning, and/or leadership development in complex matrix organizations.
Experience leveraging learning and talent technologies (such as T/LXP, LMS, skills systems, testing systems) in the design and deployment of global skills, capabilities building, and learning solutions.
Experience designing and deploying learning and skills initiatives across multiple geographies with clear business outcomes.
