Professional Support Pharmacist

OverviewThe Pharmacist Professional Support Manager will act as a clinical and professional expert supporting the development and ongoing delivery of clinical services offered in Pharmacies and online.Working in the Superintendent's Office, the candidate will work to support the development of a pipeline of new pharmacy services ready for delivery in store.The candidate will work closely with all stakeholders, colleagues and patients to continually improve and optimise the patient experience of pharmacy services in Boots Ireland and to provide expert professional support to the wider business.ResponsibilitiesYou will provide expert advice and input into the clinical, professional and regulatory aspects of pharmacy and in particular services development and deliveryYou will work to ensure appropriate governance of the end to end development journeyYou will work with the wider pharmacy function to ensure the pipeline of future services are developed robustly and consistently in readiness for digitisation and delivery in pharmacyYou will apply expertise and knowledge to help shape the development of future pharmacy services models in store that will utilizing pharmacists, pharmacist prescribers and pharmacy technicians differentlyYou will support copy and product approval as a key adviser to Consumer HealthYou will support the central pharmacy function, field leaders and store colleagues with professional mattersOur Ideal CandidateMust be a registered practising pharmacist with 3 years' post-registration experience of community pharmacyMust be willing and able to undertake development in specific clinical areasMust have experience of delivering pharmacy servicesWill be proficient in the professional regulations and standards that apply to pharmacyWill be an excellent communicator, confidently able to provide legal, professional and ethical support to external stakeholders and internal colleagues (including OTC category, marketing, PR, boots.ie, pharmacy operations, and professional capabilities)Will be a team player with a can-do attitude and desire to innovateWill be familiar with medicines advertising regulations, professional codes of practiceWill be able to form and develop clinical relationships with external stakeholders including 3rd party companies in order to shape future service provisionMust have a good command of the English language, grammar and spelling with articulate communication skills (both written and verbal), a high concern for order and quality, be able to work to tight deadlines, prioritise effectively and deliver on timeMust be an ambassador for Boots Ireland and be able to make sound judgements when advising colleagues and balancing professional/commercial issues.Will be able to act with autonomy and independence in the majority of their workload.What's in it for you?This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to develop their career working at the forefront of future pharmacy initiatives as part of the Superintendent's team.The role will provide the opportunity for the candidate to apply their experience in the delivery of clinical services to future developments, and to be part of building the future of pharmacy in Boots Ireland.Why BootsYou'll be joining a company that is evolving and always looking to improve.We foster a working environment where consideration and inclusivity help everyone to be themselves and reach their full potential.We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer, passionate about embracing the diversity of our colleagues and providing a positive and inclusive working environment for all.People are at the heart of Boots, your support helps us go further, together.To find out more about life and careers at Boots, the information is available on Boots careers pages.#J-*****-Ljbffr
