Job description
We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Staff Grade Psychologist to join our clients team.
The role is in Primary Care- Child Services - Wait List Initiative in Galway and is perfect for a qualified psychologist who is looking to build on their experience and deepen their clinical skills.
Please note, this is a 1 year contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver psychological assessments, formulations, and evidence-based interventions to a diverse client group.
Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic and person-centred care.
Participate in the development of individualized care plans and risk management strategies.
Maintain accurate clinical records in line with legal and professional standards.
Engage in regular clinical supervision and reflective practice.
Contribute to service evaluations, team meetings, and clinical discussions.
Essential Criteria:
Candidates must complete the eligibility requirements set forth by The Psychological Society of Ireland and possess a recognized post-graduate degree in psychology.
A postgraduate qualification in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology.
Full registration with Psychological Society of Ireland.
At least 1 year of post-qualification clinical experience.
A commitment to evidence-based practice, ethical standards, and professional development.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €44,473.00-€50,425.00 per year
