As the Deputy Manager, you will be fully accountable for the shop and the team in the absence of the Shop Manager.
You will take on full management responsibility for operating and running a successful shop, while managing the team effectively.
You will create a fun and enjoyable environment for all our customers and ensure every Paddy Power customer has a memorable experience
You and the team will be the face of the company in this fast-paced role, whilst dealing with many exciting everyday tasks
We are constantly exploring new ways to adapt to Retail's evolving online presence.
Ideally, we want people who embrace technology and can promote our online products and services within our shops while delivering an excellent customer journey.

HOW WE DO IT?

This includes educating and guiding your team to deliver excellent customer service face-to-face and over the phone, while cross-selling retail and online products.
Other duties include:
Leading the shop in the absence of the Shop Manager
Gathering customer feedback and building relationships in-shop and over the phone
Using shop KPIs to identify opportunities and support the Shop Manager in creating an excellent betting shop environment
Ensuring compliance with social responsibility commitments and operational procedures, including cash management
Encouraging team ideas for improvements and efficiency
Maintaining shop presentation standards
