About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Site Project Engineer to assist in the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant in North Tipperary.
The successful candidate will engage with all aspects including both Civil and MEICA elements of the construction and commissioning process, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities: Support with the completion of projects on time and within budget.Provide document control support to site CM and maintain EPS construction document registers.Manage submittals through the approvals process, track procurement and delivery of equipment and complete the receipt verification process once equipment is delivered.Liaise with the design team & supply chain to ensure systems are compliant with specifications and drawings.Timeline planning of all civil & MEICA installations from awarding of contract to completion and handover of all documentation.Writing engineering reports, method statements and commissioning schedules.Ensure that technical assessments are completed as required and technical issues are resolved without delay.On Site Procurement of all BOQ items for projects including labour, parts and materials.Coordinate site labour for projects.Assist with Health & Safety documentation and enforcement of safe work practices onsite during all EPS installation.Prepare and submit monthly site progress reports and presentations.Evaluate the RFI responses to ensure that there are no engineering issues with them.Review and answer technical queries from site in relation to specifications/drawings/materials and equipment.Issue requisitions and ensure all materials delivered are as per specifications and submittals.Develop and maintain Project Asset Register.Development of Equipment Commissioning Plans and compilation of O&M file.
Key Competencies and Skills:5+ years experience in a similar role.Proficiency in PC skills to include MS office and Project software is advantageous.Good inter-personal and communication skills.Strong engineering, analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong collaborative skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment.Have a willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater Industry.Interest in implementing opportunities and initiatives in a time restricted schedule.Qualifications:Third level Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree.Similar relevant third level qualification and experience will be considered.Full EU/ Irish driving licence.Compensation Package:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.CPD accredited employer.A collaborative and supportive work environment.Laptop or desktop and work mobile phone provided.Flexible working options, dependent on location and role requirements.See company website for more information on the benefits of working in EPS Group.
