The Role To support our ambitious growth plans and build on our success to-date, we require a Payroll Specialist to support our business. To be successful in the role, you will have a proven track record leading a payroll function of a busy company and implementing system and process improvements. You will have strong analytical problem-solving skills, be results-driven, curious and versatile. Key Responsibilities & Duties Ownership of Group Payrolls, weekly and monthly, across multiple Group entities. Payroll reconciliations to ensure data consistency and accuracy Cross-functional collaboration with HR team to resolve payroll Issues Strict adherence to deadlines in the processing and submission of payroll returns Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance Perform manual Gross to Net calculations as required. Calculation and inclusion of benefits in kind, holiday pay, statutory payments (sick, maternity, paternity), and other payroll-related items. Produce the Gender Pay Gap report in line with legislative requirements. Answer payroll-related queries and support employees with requests such as Mortgage Forms, Salary Certs etc. Ownership of financial transactions such as Perx Cards, Tax Saver, Bike to Work, Pension and Health Insurance, etc... Implement payroll legislative changes and ensure all procedures are updated accordingly Candidate Skills and Experience Significant experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment. IPASS or similar qualification is preferred and advantageous Strong Microsoft Office skills including a high proficiency in Excel with an interest in improving processes Deadline driven with a proven track record of working to multiple tight deadlines Experience implementing a payroll system and HRIS is required Must have excellent attention to detail This role works closely with both the finance and HR teams so you must have an aptitude to work collaboratively with multiple team members and across disciplines Experience of Sage payroll essential and an interest in emerging technologies an advantage Strong knowledge of Irish payroll regulations and compliance requirements Career Incentives & Benefits Competitive salary & bonus structure Pension Contribution Scheme PrepayPower Health Insurance Group Scheme & EAP with Laya Healthcare Great career progression opportunities in a growing company with strong market growth Fast-paced and friendly team environment Continual training and development Annual leave, increasing with service.
