Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to take the next step in your career?
We're working with a leading M&E design consultancy in Citywest, Dublin, seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to head up their Electrical Design team.
As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality electrical designs across commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
This is an opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities, working closely with clients, design teams, and stakeholders while mentoring junior engineers and overseeing a team of engineers at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and delivery of electrical engineering solutions across multiple sectors
Manage and mentor junior and mid-level electrical engineers, providing technical guidance
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
Work closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality control
Stay up to date with emerging sustainable design and energy-efficient technologies
This role is a permanent position, so job security is guaranteed
You will be swiftly integrated into the team and will be able to get stuck into managing projects and begin working alongside your experienced team
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Chartered Engineer status, or working towards chartership
7+ years of experience in electrical design within an M&E consultancy
Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations, electrical codes, and industry standards
Experience in leading and mentoring teams.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Amtech, or similar software
Excellent communication and project management skills
