Duties & Responsibilities to include: Identify, evaluate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality and delivery standards are met. Manage the preparation and processing of purchase orders for products, parts and consumables, as required by various departments. Review inventory levels and ensure that stock is ordered and maintained to meet production demands. Negotiate terms, pricing and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company. Process deliveries inwards ensuring quantities and costs are correct. Generate stock codes and descriptions for new products. Maintain accurate system information for product ETA dates. Key Skills: A minimum of 2 years buying experience required. Strong awareness of costs and quality. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Proficient in the use of Excel, and other IT systems. Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records and files in an automated system. Strong analytical and organisational skills.
