Anthony Ryans are looking someone with current commercial experience and drive, who can grow sales and interpret trends in our Soft Furnishings Department.It is essential that interested candidates are already operating at Buyer/Manager level, have extensive development and sourcing knowledge, have a background in interior design and have experience in effective selling of made to measure window treatments, readymade curtain and roller blinds.Key Responsibilities include:· Sourcing and Buying of Curtain materials, readymade curtains and roller blinds.· Management of the Soft Furnishings Department including its day-to-day operations.· Merchandising of the department including in-store displays.· Be involved in stock control and management.· Providing exceptional sales service to the customer.Required:· Experience in Buying and Management· Product sourcing is essential and experience in sourcing on-trend products· Proven track record of effectively assisting in the delivery of successful interior design solutions· Excellent product Knowledge of branded soft furnishing and interior design products.· Keen eye for detail with a commercial aptitude.· Proficiency with MS Office· Full driving License.Attractive remuneration includes salary, discounts and other benefits.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Employee discountAbility to commute/relocate:The Docks, CO.Galway: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Retail management: 2 years (preferred)Retail sales: 1 year (required)Work Location: In person
