Job Description:Our client is seeking a dedicated and experiencedSenior Registrar in Psychiatryto join a multidisciplinary mental health team within the Irish Health Service Executive (HSE).This role involves providing high-quality psychiatric care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, depending on the service configuration.Key Responsibilities:Deliver psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients under consultant supervisionParticipate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, MDT meetings, and case reviewsLiaise with GPs, primary care services, and community mental health teamsContribute to care planning, risk assessment, and safeguarding proceduresMaintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records and documentationParticipate in audit, research, and teaching where applicableTake part in the on-call rota (where required)Essential Requirements:Full registration with theIrish Medical Council (IMC)At least3 years of psychiatry experience(ideally including registrar-level experience)MRCPsych or equivalent postgraduate qualificationEligibility to work in Ireland (EU citizenship or appropriate visa/work permit)Strong clinical and communication skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamUp-to-date training in BLS, Manual Handling, and PMAV (or willingness to obtain)Driving License requiredDesirable:Experience working in the Irish mental health systemInterest in teaching or academic psychiatry#J-*****-Ljbffr
