Medical Registrar – Munster Region, Full-Time / Fixed-Term
Opalus Healthcare is currently recruiting Medical Registrars to join a hospital in the Munster region . This is an exciting opportunity for motivated doctors to gain exposure to a variety of medical specialties in a supportive and progressive clinical environment.
Whether you’re looking to broaden your experience or advance within structured medical teams, this role offers a strong foundation for continued professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care : Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in general medicine and related specialties.
Ward-Based Duties : Take part in daily ward rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary planning.
Clinical Procedures : Perform key diagnostic and therapeutic interventions as required.
Admissions & Discharges : Manage patient flow through safe and effective assessment, treatment, and discharge planning.
Team Collaboration : Work closely with Consultants, SHOs, Nursing staff, and Allied Health Professionals.
On-Call Duties : Participate in the on-call rota for acute and general medical services.
Documentation : Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
IMC Registration : Fully registered with the Irish Medical Council (General Division)
Experience : At least 1 year of experience working as a Medical Registrar ( in Ireland - preferred)
Work Eligibility : Must be legally eligible to work in Ireland.
