We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Fire Engineer/Senior Fire Engineer /Principal Fire Engineer to join our Building & Real Estate Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We're looking for a proactive, flexible and reliable Fire Engineer to join our Ireland office, with experience in a similar role and who possesses a recognised fire safety engineering qualification.
Working across a variety of projects both autonomously and as part of a wider Team, it is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
Develop design and construction fire safety strategies
Prepare fire safety assessment for external walls
Prepare other technical engineering analysis such as CFD Modelling, Structural fire engineering, etc.
Carry out site visits when required
Provide fire safety advice
Write fee proposal letters
Liaise with client on a regular basis
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (mechanical, structural, civil, or a similar field)
Involvement and recognition with a professional body
Proven background in fire safety and a good understanding of fire engineered solutions
At least two years' experience in fire safety engineering
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
