Job Opportunity: Fire & Operations Officer Our client is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their team as a Fire & Operations Officer.
This is an excellent opportunity for those currently employed as ground staff looking to advance their careers.
Please note: This role involves being trained in Airport Emergency Response and Fire Fighting, and as such does require a high degree of physical fitness.
Training will be provided.
Experience of this nature would be an advantage.

Extensive Fire Training: Comprehensive training provided for successful candidates Healthcare: VHI Healthcare coverage Dental: Dental benefits included Pension: Pension plan available Overtime: Opportunities for overtime Main Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day Airport Fire & Operations Services activities Maintain equipment and vehicles to required standards Understand and execute procedures for Airport Fire Service (e.g., fire tender inspections, breathing apparatus, runway inspections, fire training, aircraft parking, loading of aircraft, vehicle driving, ramp safety, facilities and maintenance support) Understand and execute procedures for Airport Operations Service (e.g., cash handling, security, hold baggage search area, passenger screening area, fence patrol, CCTV monitoring, night patrols) Complete and maintain all required manuals, documents, and records in accordance with company/statutory/legal requirements Liaise with Duty Officers to ensure smooth airport operations Report all accidents to Duty Officers Familiarise with Emergency Crash Orders and Security Contingency Plans Perform any other duties as assigned by Duty Officers Ideal Candidate: Computer literate Self-motivated with a 'can do' attitude Able to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, enthusiastic, and dedicated to high-quality standards Effective communicator with good problem-solving skills Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Recruitment Process: The recruitment process will involve three stages: Interview Theory and practical assessment Medical assessment Join our client and take the next step in your career
