We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Nutritionist, a role to provide expert nutrition and healthy eating support, advice and information service to Sysco internal and external stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities: Maintain links with government bodies and NGOs and represent the Company's interests externally, attending events as requiredAct as a Company spokesperson on all nutrition issues and ensure satisfaction with Nutrition information services provided to internal and external customersAdvise the Company on appropriate policies related to nutrition and dietMaintain awareness of current legislation, emerging nutrition trends and issues through regular review of relevant developments and communicate these to the businessAdvise the Company on actions needed to comply with official nutritional guidance and legislation related to nutrition and healthUse social media effectively to deliver nutrition messages and adviceProvide advice and information to category teams and product development managers to meet the nutrition needs of customers and ensure products meet the requirements of technical policies and product rangesProvide nutrition training for staff at an appropriate level to ensure Internal and External Customer Satisfaction.To provide nutrition advice and expertise to customers and support the new business process, attending and speaking at sales events and customer meetingsManage the recipe management systems in use in the business and ensure the systems are maintained and updated to meet the needs of the business and our customers.
This will include systems available for customer use, systems for internal use and dissemination of recipe information through all media.Work with Marketing teams to underpin all programmes with sound nutrition policies and ensure all publications meet legal requirementsEnsure that current business product data information management systems have the relevant nutritional & health information required to meet legal obligations and customer expectationsRaise awareness of nutrition through internal communications to all members of staffIdentify and implement service and / or process improvementsRequirements: Minimum 5 years relevant industry experienceThird Level Qualification in relevant Nutrition or Food Science degreeRegistered public health nutritionist, or on track to achieve registrationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate nutrition messages / training through popular social media planformsExcellent Microsoft Office skills with intermediate-advanced level Excel & PowerPoint as a minimum requirementA passion to positively influence on the subject of healthy eatingStrong planning and organization skills;Excellent attention to detailA proactive tenacious approach to problem solving and issue resolutionThe role may involve travel, so a degree of flexibility is requiredFull clean B driving licenseSysco Ireland Culture Customer Focus: We deeply understand our customers' needs, continuously looking at ways to deliver real value.Building Relationships: We foster strong, effective relationships across teams, always working together.
