Product Engineering Team Lead - Insights
We are hiring for a Product Engineering Team Lead to join the Insights team.
You'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our inventory platform by architecting scalable solutions, mentoring peers, and directly boosting our customers' efficiency and sustainability.
What you'll be doing
Drive the development of intelligent features that power scheduling and operational planning, including AI-driven automation, adaptability, and decision-making at scale.
Own the technical direction and delivery of our revamped Insights suite, enabling operators to make smarter decisions on pricing, waste reduction, and customer experience.
Champion forecasting excellence, continuously improving the accuracy and user experience of predictive tools.
Lead the design and roll-out of embedded AI capabilities across the platform, from contextual insights to agent-based analytics.
Oversee the expansion of customer feedback tools, developing new functionality that increases value for operators and creates monetisation opportunities for Nory.
Ensure robust integrations with key industry platforms to simplify adoption for restaurants.
Lead a high-performing squad, fostering collaboration, autonomy, and technical excellence while delivering against clear objectives.
What you'll bring
Full-Stack Technical Leadership: 8+ years of engineering experience with deep credibility in at least one domain (backend or frontend) and strong knowledge of the other.
Ability to lead, guide, and ensure quality in scalable systems.
Systems Thinking & Architecture Ownership: Experience designing and evolving systems, facilitating architectural decisions, promoting reusability, and managing technical debt.
Customer & Product Stewardship: Ability to connect work to customer value, partner with PMs to shape product direction, and evaluate trade-offs by user outcomes and feasibility.
Delivery Ownership & Team Enablement: Accountable for squad velocity and outcomes, removing blockers, coaching teammates, and enabling engineers to perform at their best.
Cross-Functional Communication & Alignment: Proactive communication with PM, Design, and leadership across time zones.
Culture, Coaching & Growth: Foster team culture, support growth plans, give regular feedback, and model company values.
