Health & Safety Graduate
.
This is an exciting, site-based graduate opportunity, where you will gain invaluable experience as part of a professional Health & Safety team.

In your new role:
Work as part of the construction management team to help ensure a safe and productive work environment
Support the continuous improvement of Health & Safety standards, both within the management system and on-site
Monitor and enforce compliance with the company's Health & Safety Management System
Identify site-specific hazards and ensure they are captured within documentation and addressed practically on site
Maintain site folders and statutory records, ensuring they are up to date and accurate
Assist site management in meeting statutory Health & Safety requirements
Support the development and implementation of risk assessments and safe systems of work
Assist with contractor compliance monitoring and coordination of safe working practices
Carry out Health & Safety site audits and support site management in addressing any non-conformances
Contribute to accident and incident investigations, helping to identify root causes and corrective actions
Assist in the preparation and delivery of toolbox talks and safety communications
What you will need to succeed:
A 3rd level qualification in Health & Safety (or a related discipline)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to present clear findings
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail with a methodical and accurate approach
A team player with the ability to engage confidently with people at all levels
Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative
Willingness to take responsibility for designated tasks and contribute proactively to site safety
Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):
Previous work experience in a Health & Safety related role (e.g. placement or site experience)
Experience delivering or contributing to training or toolbox talks
