Responsibilities
Lead and develop a number of geo-dispersed diverse partner teams of QA Resources for BOIs project delivery
Provide leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to improve the quality and efficiency across Squads (Testers, Automation Testers).
Define the test strategy for large programme involves migration/upgrades at various levels, delivering in Agile methodology and covering test data management, functional and test automation
Conduct quality reviews/checks on all the test deliverables and provide the guidance and recommendations
Participate in regular meetings with Programme Leadership team to communicate accomplishments, plans and issues as well as any risks to the Test progress including UAT
Conduct defect analysis and product quality assessments based on trend analysis.
Track and manage KPI metrics to align with enterprise test strategy and tools, driving automation ROI, reporting and continually enhancing automation
Develop and maintain Test schedules, track and forecast project costs and labour hours, and manage project risks.
Collaborate with service partners and suppliers to deliver projects to high quality, on time
Manage test timelines, test resource requirements, testing budget and testing RAIDs
Manage and Escalate RAID with mitigation plan.
Support and guide the team member on Test queries
Review the different Test phases, both functional (Manual and Automation) as well as Non-functional (Performance, A&I and Pen test), to ensure smooth deliveries
Own the solution for providing testing status reports and updates
Ensure quality of the complete set of test processes and methodologies, implementing Continuous Improvements wherever appropriate
Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders within the program, Businesses and 3rd parties
Qualifications
Minimum of 12+ years of IT experience in large scale financial or banking services, with 5+ years in strong Test Management
Hands-on experience in defining and implementing testing governance frameworks
Strong understanding of managing testing of multi-phased multi-vendor software and/or infra upgrade projects
Ability to understand the system design, system integrations to lead the technical discussions with the team as well as engineering leads
Experience working in Jira/Zephyr for Test & Defect Management, Test Reporting, and other tools such as Confluence, SharePoint
Experience in evaluating and managing Test Automation
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environment
Strong test estimation skills on manual as well as automation projects
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with ability to present complex ideas in clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical groups
Strong Leadership skills in project as well as business stakeholder management, 3rd party coordination, and team management
Experience in driving Continuous Improvements in the team/area
Report and escalate to management as needed
Good understanding of API testing tools and frameworks e.g. Postman, Ready API, RestAssured, JMeter, Selenium
Good understanding of Open Banking, APIs and Regulatory frameworks e.g. PSD2, OBIE standards, ISO20022
Experience of API upgrade, Currency upgrade, and/or Database migration projects
