Sales Design Consultant – KitchensPay: €35,000 – €45,000 per year (DOE)We are seeking a motivated Sales Design Consultant to join our growing kitchen business.This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in kitchen design, sales, or cabinet making — but it could also suit the right person looking to learn, as we provide full in-house training.At McCarthy Kitchens, our team culture is as important as our clients.We are a family-structured, community-focused business where work-life balance and integrity matter.Finding the right person to join our team is hugely important to us.Key ResponsibilitiesMeeting clients in our showroom and guiding them through the sales and design processCapturing walk-in enquiries and converting them into successful projectsIdentifying each client's vision and bringing it to life through designCarrying out accurate site measures and preparing CAD design drawingsLiaising with workshop staff, providing clear instructions for special details or bespoke elements chosen with clientsInspecting workshop output and deliveries to ensure quality and detail standards are metOverseeing projects from first consultation through to final installationOccasionally assisting with hands-on support if suited (the role is primarily showroom/office-based)Ideal CandidateIndustry experience preferred but not essential – kitchen sales, design, or cabinet-making background desirableFull training provided – sometimes even preferred, as old habits can be left at the door so you learnour wayof delivering five-star serviceFluent in English with excellent communication skills — confident in explaining designs to both clients and workshop staffA keen eye for detail and sharp professional presenceOrganised, reliable, and comfortable working as part of a close-knit teamCompetent in CAD/design software (training can be provided if needed)Hours & BenefitsFull-time, Monday to FridayStandard hours: 10am – 5pm (option for 8:30am – 5pm if preferred)1 Saturday per month, 10am – 2pm (showroom cover/appointments)Flexibility offered – we support work-life balanceBenefits include:Bike-to-work schemeEmployee discountFlexitimeCompany eventsOn-site parkingAbout UsMcCarthy Kitchens is now in its 7th year of business.In ****, we were proudly shortlisted for three awards at the Louth Business Awards.Our reputation has grown from strong local roots to national recognition, and we are proud dealers for Schüller, Bora, Costeino, and Quooker.We are a small, ambitious, and passionate team.What drives us is not just five-star design and finish, but also the strength of our people.Our showroom is a place of creativity, collaboration, and community.If you have the skills, passion, and personality to bring kitchens to life — or the right attitude to learn from the ground up — we would love to hear from you.Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In personJob Type: Full-timePay: €35,******-€45,****** per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsEmployee discountFlexitimeOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
