Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and in accordance with legal and professional requirements.
Provide comprehensive medication therapy management for patients with addiction issues.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
Monitor patient progress and adjust medication plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy.
Valid pharmacist license in Ireland.
Experience in addiction services or mental health care is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of addiction medications, including methadone and buprenorphine.
