Overview
Senior Software Engineer (Front End / React) at Workhuman.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join our team in expanding and improving our Engagement Channel solutions.
We collaborate with trust and respect and strive to build the best software within constraints.
The team is central to helping customers build and sustain cultures of gratitude by delivering innovative solutions that enable a culture of recognition and celebration within workplaces.
Responsibilities
Lead design and front-end engineering activities for your squad in alignment with strategic objectives.
Break down large features and epics into smaller items to enable others in the squad to work more efficiently.
Coordinate complex deployments and improve developer experience by introducing new ideas.
Support the team in achieving goals by assisting with prioritisation, identifying dependencies, interpreting retro feedback, and maintaining documentation.
Qualifications
Ideally 6+ years of front-end development experience.
Experience with JavaScript and React framework.
Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret data and business strategy, understanding constraints and trade-offs.
Experience mentoring team members on best practices and fostering consistent coding styles and guidelines.
Experience introducing new development/test/automation frameworks and driving adoption where suitable.
Experience with Java RESTful API design is advantageous.
Proven ability to build scalable, reliable systems while considering trade-offs between scalability, efficiency, and security.
