Our client, an AI-driven organization who have recently opened a new EU HQ, are hiring a Senior Software Developer to join their backend development team in Dublin.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering innovative projects and scalable backend solutions that drive the success of an AI leader in its domain.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain backend systems using Python and C++.
Build scalable, high-performance APIs and services to support AI-driven applications.
Optimise system performance, troubleshoot complex issues and ensure high availability.
Contribute to architectural decisions and influence best practices within the team.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry standards.
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency and scalability.
Skillset
7+ years of experience in software development using Python and C++.
Understanding of backend development principles and database management.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience working on AI projects advantageous.
