OverviewDesign Build Searchis seeking aSetting-Out Engineerwith 2-4 years of experience to join our client's experienced team based in Cork.The selected candidate will have the opportunity to develop and bring added value to their career within an expanding contracting company who have a proven track record in delivering complex, diverse, and challenging construction projects.ResponsibilitiesSet out and survey all assigned construction sites using surveying equipmentEnsure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulationsInterpret construction plans and drawings and ensure that work is carried out to specificationProvide technical advice and guidance to the construction teamLiaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that all work is completed on time and to company standardIdentify and resolve any issues that arise during constructionMaintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and workforce productivityProvide training and guidance to team members as requiredAttend site meetings and provide progress reports as requiredRequirementsDegree in Civil Engineering or a Construction related fieldMinimum of 2-4 years' experience in a similar role in the construction industryProficiency in the use of total station, GPS, laser level and other surveying equipmentProficiency in the use of AutoCAD and associated programsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsValid driver's license with access to own vehicleSkillsSkills:Setting Out, Engineering, GPS, Construction#J-*****-Ljbffr
