Job description Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-orientedAssistant Accountant/Office Administrator to join their team. This key role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of both financial and office activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in payroll processing, proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems, and excellent computer skills. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily bookkeeping duties, including managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and generating detailed financial reports. Accurately process payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll laws and regulations. Handle general office duties such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies. Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the POS system, including accurate data entry. Maintain accurate financial records and assist with the preparation of financial statements. Collaborate with the finance team to support budget preparation and financial planning. Ensure that office and financial operations are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner. Requirements: Proven experience in bookkeeping and office administration, with a strong emphasis on payroll processing. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with POS systems. High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
