Practice Accountant Required -Immediate start available KAAS is a growing accountancy practice, established 45 years.
We provide a full range of accounts, tax, advisory and audit services to clients from sole traders, SME and larger companies / group who are based both in Ireland and internationally.
We are looking for a proactive person to help support our existing and future clients, with both compliance and value adding services, who communicates well and takes the initiative for the areas they are responsible for.
Working with the other qualified accountants and helping to guide the bookkeeping team, will also be part of the role.
Along side the core accounting areas, we work in the areas of personal & corporate insolvency giving the successful candidate the opportunity to gain a greater depth of experience.
The role is Full Time and permanent, based in our Newbridge Office.
Reporting to Senior Accountant & Liaising with Bookkeeping team Benefits Further training / post qualification skills development encouraged & supported with Study & exam support available Hybrid working option 1-2 days per week remote Holidays 25 days per year Employee Assistance Program Early finish Friday 4pm Key Responsibilities Preparation of final accounts for individuals & companies, from client records / management accounts / internal bookkeeping records Preparation of income & company tax returns Preparation of management accounts monthly for clients Client communications & management of individual client list Formatting accounts for presentation Full onsite training will be given Preferred experience & qualifications 5 years experience working within an accounts practice Accounting degree qualified / Qualified professional accountant Acs software systems SAGE AP, Sage online, Xero Accounts, Big Red Books or similar ROS online software MS Office Word, Xl, Outlook General Skills Successful candidate will mix a good team personality, with an ability to be proactive in managing client work to meet CRO & Revenue deadlines.
Will have good ability with numbers & paperwork, good communication skills internally and with clients, aptitude to development and interest in learning and skills development.
