Locations: County Meath (Navan Acute General Medicine, Children's Disability Network Teams, Adult Mental Health) About the Roles Emerald Locums are delighted to be recruiting multiple Occupational Therapists across County Meath within Acute Hospital, Paediatrics (CDNTs), and Adult Mental Health services.
These are rewarding opportunities to make a real difference to patients, children, and families while working as part of supportive multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Comprehensive Assessment - Deliver functional, cognitive, and developmental assessments across a range of patient groups.
Individualised Treatment Planning - Implement evidence-based interventions that promote recovery, independence, and quality of life.
Discharge & Transition Support - Work with MDT colleagues to ensure smooth, safe discharges and effective onward planning.
Collaboration - Engage with families, carers, schools, and community partners to deliver holistic, person-centred care.
Professional Development - Senior roles include leading on complex caseloads, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to service development.
Requirements BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy and CORU registration (essential).
Staff Grade: Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience (acute preferred).
Senior Grade: Minimum 3 years post-qualification (paediatrics, adult mental health, or acute strongly preferred).
Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills.
Benefits Salary ranging from €72,800 - €85,540 depending on experience and grade.
