Job Title: Consultant PhysicianLocation: West of IrelandContract Type: Full-time PermanentReports to: Medical Director / Clinical LeadJob SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Physician to join our multidisciplinary team.The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred care in accordance with the standards of the Irish Medical Council guidelines.This role offers a unique opportunity to practice in a supportive and progressive clinical environment with a strong focus on continuity of care and clinical excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of adult medical patients.Deliver outpatient consultations and support chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, COPD).Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, if applicable.Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and case discussions.Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.Ensure meticulous clinical documentation and compliance with GDPR and medical record-keeping standards.Maintain professional development and meet CPD requirements of the Irish Medical Council.Qualifications & RequirementsFamiliarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.Experience in service development or quality improvement.What We OfferCompetitive salary (commensurate with experience).Flexible work schedule (where applicable).Supportive and collegial work environment.Continuing professional development support.Opportunities for research or service innovation.To ApplyPlease submit your CV.If you have any further questions, please contact Christy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
