LAUNDRY ASSISTANTDepartment/Location: AccommodationReporting to: Housekeeping ManagementJob overviewAbout us: The MHL Hotel Collection is a collection of unique and individual hotels in key city and resort locations throughout Ireland.From the bustling city centres of Dublin, Galway and Limerick, to an historic estate close to Galway City, each of our 13 hotels has its own distinct personality and charm.As unique as our collection is, all of our hotels are united in their commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality to all of our guests.Main Purpose of the Job: To provides services to the premises including wash/ dryer/ pressing, folding and preparing linen as required to meet the business needs.Duties and responsibilitiesKeep laundry space clean and tidy at all times, cleaning up efficiently at the end of each shiftAdhere to health and safety regulations, such as, hygiene, customer safety, fire regulations, emergency procedures, etcWork closely with the Management Team improve standards on a consistent basis within the Hotel by embracing and accepting cost efficiencies, new technology, customer service and facility managementAdhere to all purchasing and stock control systems and procedures in place in the Hotel informing your Manager if items need to be re-stockedEnsure that any special requests from guests are adhered to and delivered in an efficient mannerJob Types: Part-time, PermanentBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsCompany pensionEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFood allowanceGym membershipOn-site gymOn-site parkingSick payWellness programWork authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
