What We are Looking For....
We are looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join our finance team that has 7 years' PQE.
What You will Do...
Management of accounts Payable/Treasury/Payroll/General Ledger Accounting Teams.
Weekly and monthly cashflow management.
Responsible for preparation and review of all general ledger accounting at month end.
Intercompany Reconciliations, monthly management of intercompany matrix and agree intercompany balances with other companies within the group.
Responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts and monthly reporting to Group.
Prepare and review of monthly Balance Sheet accounts.
Play a key role in the Year End audit, ensure all audit files are prepared in a timely manner and act as the primary point of contact with external Auditors.
Ensure all revenue/CSO commitments are met by the finance team in a timely manner.
Assist in Statutory Compliance (Accounting and Tax).
Involved in the Year end Budget process.
Ensure proper Finance Team structure (People and expertise) to drive continued finance process excellence and growing business engagement.
Primary point of contact for routine matters between finance and the rest of the Business.
What You will Have...
Previous management experience of a small team essential.
Ideally including transactional finance personnel management.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to check accuracy of own work.
Ability to priorities time correctly and provide clear direction to team members.
Experience using an integrated ERP system, IFS experience desirable.
Strong computer skills, especially Advanced Excel.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Exercise good judgement and make decisions.
Who You are...
Qualified accountant, CIMA/ ACCA /ACA.
7 years' PQE.
