Our client, a leading luxury hospitality group, is recruiting for an Assistant Financial Controller to join their growing team. You will be responsible for the financial management of multi-entity accounts, month-end accounting and work closely with the Financial Controller on commercial growth of the business.

This is the ideal opportunity for an ambitious Part-Qualified Accountant or QBE candidate who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the financial management multi entity accounts and subsidiaries
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Carry out comparisons to budget and previous year, highlighting and investigating differences
  • Building strong business relationships with stakeholders at all levels (internal/external)
  • Assist the Group Financial Controller in preparation of departmental and company budgets, forecasts and cashflows
  • Run and review weekly revenue reports
  • Carry out internal audit checks and ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a fast paced finance team (Industry)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with all stakeholders in a business (senior leadership, non-finance etc)
  • Strong desire to progress in career with a hands-on approach to work
  • High attention to detail and commercial acumen
