oral, topical, parenteral, etc. in a timely and accurate manner.Communicates with nurses at facilities concerning certain clarifications or requests.Knowledge and experience with Framework and DocuTrack are a plus.Long-term care pharmacy experience is preferred.Must be computer literate with excellent keyboarding skills; oral, topical, parenteral, etc.Determines prescription assignment for dosage, drug choice, administration, and possible reactions/interactions.Supervises technicians in prescription data entry, packing oral medications, label and card preparation, and assists when necessary.Supervise technicians in IV mixtures and compounding.Verifies accuracy of peer pharmacists\' finished work.Directs timely delivery of medications and supplies to the facilities.Answer pharmacy related questions and concerns and assist with problem solving using drug information systems.May assist with special projects as needed.Rotates work schedule: opening and closing.Compounds prescriptions as needed.Offer suggestions for cost effective/therapeutic alternatives to non-insurance covered items.Closely monitor patient\'s lab results in relation to medication orders that require dose adjustments for efficacy and safety.Offer in-services/training to facilities on proper PCA pump utilization.Accept/initiate interactions with physicians and staff to obtain verbal orders for controlled medications.May consult long-term care facilities according to state and federal regulations when necessary.Is customer focused; dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; talks and acts with customers in mind;
