Main Purpose of Role: We have a fantastic opportunity for a bid writer to join our Work Winning Team in Ireland.
The role can be based either out of our Newbridge (Kildare) or Cookstown (Dublin) office.
The bid writer will be responsible for producing compelling, client-focused, project specific bid proposals to secure contracts and business opportunities.
This role is crucial for driving growth by ensuring bids meet client requirements while showcasing our expertise and capabilities.
Role Duties: Write and compile bid documents across a range of construction projects including Transport & Infrastructure, Water and Energy ensuring that all required elements are included and aligned with client needs and tender specifications.Tailor bids to match the requirements and language of each project, addressing specific project criteria.Collaborate with project managers, work winning manager, engineers, estimators, SHESQ resources and other departments to gather relevant information for the bid.Research project-specific details, including site conditions, project scope, and client preferences.Stay up-to-date on industry trends, and competitors to ensure compelling bid content.Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate and relevant information for the bid.Qualifications & Skills Preferable to have a degree in Civil Engineering, Health and Safety, Quality or Environmental ManagementMinimum of 2-3 years' site experienceMinimum of 2-3 years' experience compiling technical submissionsStrong knowledge of construction practicesStrong knowledge of Health and Safety, Sustainability, Quality and Environmental practicesStrong writing and technical abilityMicrosoft Word literateStrong English-language skills are essential for this role.What Murphy Ireland Offer In Return: Competitive salary and benefits
