Our client,

a leading Tier 1 Main contractor, is currently seeking a BID Writer to join their team in either Galway or Dublin. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities to work on projects covering Commercial, Educational, Residential, Healthcare, and Industrial sectors. The role offers Hybrid working arrangements.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Generate top-tier proposal documents by orchestrating and crafting compelling content. Refine technical language for clarity, persuasion, and client focus. Ensure compliance with corporate brand guidelines and bid management protocols.
  2. Establish and maintain a comprehensive database of case studies, templates, and CVs to streamline proposal development.
  3. Collaborate with technical specialists to tailor responses for tenders. Conduct interviews across organizational levels to gather insights on value propositions, including construction methodologies, innovation, digital project delivery, HSE, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability.
  4. Build strong working relationships across all organizational levels to facilitate seamless collaboration and information sharing.
  5. Assess tender requirements and develop compelling responses that address client needs. Incorporate company values, vision, and culture into proposals for a distinctive presentation.

Qualifications/Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields.
  2. Previous experience in construction/engineering preferred.
  3. Effective communication skills with stakeholders at various levels.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  5. Attention to detail in content creation and editing.
  6. Familiarity with the construction industry is advantageous; understanding of corporate procedures is valued.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office Suite required; familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is desirable.
