About the Role
We are looking for a
Senior Product Owner
to
lead the delivery of a web-based product platform
across front-end, back-end, dev ops, and database infrastructure.
In this pivotal role, you will
own the product lifecycle
from problem definition to delivery, balancing technical expertise with a sharp focus on user experience and commercial impact.
You will have
autonomy over product decisions and outcomes
, becoming the
go-to expert for internal stakeholders and customers.
You will report to the Head of Product and ideally be based in or around Dublin.
What you will have the opportunity to do
Product Ownership & Delivery
Serve as a
Senior Product Owner
for a cross-functional team including front-end, back-end, dev ops, and database engineers.
Lead
backlog refinement
,
sprint planning
,
estimation
, and
prioritisation
activities.
Own the balance of sprint scope — managing delivery across new features, bugs, technical debt, maintenance, and team upskilling.
Define and break down complex features into
well-structured epics and user stories
with clear acceptance criteria.
Act as the
subject matter expert
(SME) on the product, answering queries from commercial, support, marketing, and customer-facing teams.
Own product decisions end-to-end:
requirements, design trade-offs, technical scope, prioritisation
, and release plans.
Ensure frequent and
clear communication
with development and QA teams to maintain high-quality and on-time deliverables.
Build and maintain product and operational
dashboards in Tableau and Datadog.
Use product metrics to justify decisions, track delivery success, and surface customer-impacting issues.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators and ensure any negative trends are promptly addressed.
Ensure internal and external stakeholders are kept up to date on
product changes, releases, and progress
.
Partner with the Scrum Master to manage and track progress across
key business initiatives and timelines
.
Present and demo new product features confidently to both internal teams and customer audiences.
Support & User Advocacy
Investigate customer issues, bugs, and queries to understand
underlying problems and develop solutions.
Promote a user-first mindset across the team, ensuring usability and user experience are core to delivery.
Experience & Skills
Key Requirements
Minimum
5 years
experience in Product, ideally in a
B2B SaaS environment
.
Strong experience acting as a
Product Owner within Scrum teams
, managing end-to-end product delivery.
Proven ability to balance sprints across
features, tech debt, bugs, and internal priorities
.
Proficient in
dashboarding and data analysis
tools
Skilled in translating problems or ideas into
clear, actionable product requirements
.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills — comfortable demoing to customers and stakeholders.
Strong
technical aptitude
, with the ability to engage in technical discussions and understand systems architecture.
Attention to detail and
commitment to high-quality outcomes
.
Demonstrated ability to manage
multiple priorities and complex projects
simultaneously.
Familiarity with
developer-facing APIs
and integration workflows.
Nice To Haves
Experience working on or with
identity verification or KYC solutions
.
Previous exposure to environments where
security, compliance, and reliability
are critical.
Background in customer discovery, UX research, or user testing methods.
