Overview:Our business is growing - are you passionate about retail and people?If so, we've just the position for you.Role purpose:To assist in all aspects of the retail store including the sales, fresh food department, profitability, waste and quality of all products, displays and customer service.Work collaboratively with the site management and colleagues to help drive the store.This would suit someone who has experience in delivering a first class customer experience and has a natural flair for working with a team while also enjoying using their own initiative.Customer Service:Ensure that customer satisfaction is the number one priority and consistently deliver and exceptional service by displaying I-CARE service excellence behaviours.Professionally handle all customer queries and complaints in line with company policy, in a timely manner and escalate where appropriate.Operations & Standards:Ensure and take responsibility for the efficient day-to-day running of all aspects of the site.Ensure that the site reflects company's standards of merchandising, presentation and Customer Care.Deliver new concepts as created.Bring innovation to promotions and displays.Stock Management:Ordering of stock from approved suppliers and in adherence to agreed product specification.Strictly follow stock rotation and control, traceability, correct storage and handling of each product.Record wastage and address daily and weekly.Ensure there is sufficient product for sale, yet keeping wastage levels to a minimum at all times.The ideal candidate will have:Minimum 1 years' experience in a busy customer service environment.As an ambitious individual you will welcome opportunities to gain knowledge and assume additional responsibilities.Flexibility to work, weekends inclusiveExcellent communication skills.Highly driven with a strong work ethic.Passion for delivering an excellent customer experience.Thrive in a fast-paced working environment.Our BenefitsSome of our benefits include:Competitive Rates of PayStaff DiscountFlexible SchedulesGroup VHI Health Care SchemePaid Family Leave including Maternity & Parental LeaveEnhanced annual leave entitlements up to 27 daysTravel & Bike to Work SchemeSave as you earn SchemeEmployee Referral BonusOngoing training, appraisals and career progression opportunitiesE-Learning and Development Portals
