My client, a well-established and highly regarded accountancy firm based in Cork, is seeking an Accounts Senior to join their growing team.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive firm with a strong reputation for delivering quality service to a diverse client base across SMEs, sole traders, and owner-managed businesses.
As an
Accounts Senior
, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, preparing financial statements, and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of annual statutory financial statements for a broad portfolio of clients
Preparing management accounts and providing business advisory support when required
Assisting with tax computations and liaising with the tax department as needed
Supervising, reviewing and mentoring junior staff
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Liaising directly with partners and clients on a regular basis
Candidate Requirements:
ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualified (or close to qualification with relevant experience)
3+ years' experience working in an accountancy practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of Irish accounting and tax standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
