AI-powered data security?We would like to talk with you if you have many of the following:ResponsibilitiesAs an Education Specialist, you will play a meaningful role in designing, building, and delivering comprehensive training programs for our internal teams.Your focus will be on developing web-based content for self-paced learning, as well as participating in the creation of instructor-led courses and updating and expanding these materials to accommodate new product features.You will collaborate with engineering, systems engineers, tech marketing specialists, and tech leads within the SRE team to develop technical training that is flawless and world-class.We are looking for very hands-on IT professionals to help design, build and deliver deep training to enable internal teams on our products.The Cohesity platform allows customers to transform their data center backups, file shares, and test & dev environments to be agile both on-prem as well as in the cloud.The ideal candidate is someone who has considerable experience working in these environments and helping people to learn to be successful with new technology.HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HEREWork closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify key learning objectives and course outlines.Develop engaging course lecture material and slides, ensuring that they are informative and visually appealing.Create web-based training materials that are interactive and promote self-paced learning.Identify and develop hands-on lab activities that allow learners to apply their knowledge.Keep training materials up to date with new product introductions and expanded capabilities.Develop and test candidate questions for certification exams.Collect course reviews and analyze feedback to plan for future course revisions.Training DeliveryDeliver internal-facing courses at corporate locations, ensuring that the training sessions are engaging and impactful.Assist in managing course logistics and scheduling to ensure smooth delivery.Support the training of other internal and external trainers, sharing your expertise and knowledge.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Proven experience in developing web-based training (WBTs) using tools such as Adobe Captivate or Articulate.8+ years' experience in IT technology, with a focus on storage, backup, and virtualization.Additional experience in disaster recovery/business continuance, database protection and recovery, public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), layer 2 networking and firewalls, scripting/automation, and Visio or equivalent application is highly desirable.Prior experience in course development and delivery is preferred.Excellent communication and project-related skills are required.Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.Outstanding written skills with the ability to create informative presentations and labs.A passion for teaching and the ability to make others successful.Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills.Proven ability to manage projects and drive them to successful completion within deadlines.Data Privacy and Equal
