▷ Urgent Search: Senior Technical Officer, Department of Physiology

Permanent Whole Time Post UCC wishes to recruit a Senior Technical Officer within the department of Physiology. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Department's teaching, learning and research activities. Candidates should have at least a Master degree qualification in Human Physiology (ideally with clinical experience) or have been employed as a Technical Officer in a University in the State before July 2006. Candidates should have demonstrable experience of working to a high level in a life sciences or related work setting. Applicants must demonstrate core competencies in human cardiorespiratory physiology study design and execution (including ethics applications) and competencies in project and data management. Experience and competency in supporting human cardiorespiratory and cerebrovascular physiology projects in a laboratory, field studies, and/or clinical environment is essential. Appointment may be made on the Senior Technical Officer Salary Scale: €66,537 - €78,255 (LSI) (Scale B) / €63,321 - €74,450 (LSI) (Scale A). Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
