Location: Galway, Ireland Contract: 3-month rolling basis Hours: Full-time or part-time considered Pay: €40 €50 per hour + holiday pay Emerald Locums are recruiting on behalf of a well-esteemed client for an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join a Childrens Disability Network Team (CDNT) based in Galway.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work with children and adolescents aged 018 who present with complex disabilities and/or developmental delays.
Role Overview: The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality, family-centred care.
The role involves assessment, intervention planning, and delivery of occupational therapy services to support the functional development and participation of each child within their daily environments.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Develop and implement individualised care and support plans Engage with families and carers to support goal setting and progress Participate in service development and clinical supervision where applicable Essential Requirements: CORU registered Occupational Therapist Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience Experience working with children and/or in disability services is highly desirable Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills Whats Offered: Competitive hourly pay: €40 to €50 per hour plus holiday pay Flexible working hours: both full-time and part-time considered Ongoing contract with potential for long-term placement Supportive work environment with a strong team ethos To express interest in this role, please contact Emerald Locums or submit your CV today.
