Securitas Security Services are currently recruiting a Badging Coordinator for a day shift to be based in Dublin 15. Pay rate is €16.50 per hour. Benefits: ? Employee Refer a friend incentives Life Assurance equal to one years basic pay as per Employment Regulation Order (ERO) Overtime as per the ERO Sick Pay Scheme as per ERO SIPTU Representation Rights Job Summary: The Construction Badge Officer is responsible for facilitating the issuance of access control badges to construction workers, assisting in the on-site induction process, and maintaining a secure and organized access control system. This role demands the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the safety and security of all site personnel. Key Responsibilities: Badge Issuance and Management: Distribute and manage access control badges to construction personnel based on established protocols. Maintain accurate records of issued badges, ensuring that they are valid and up-to-date. Coordinate with Site Management and relevant departments to ensure proper identification and authorization before issuing badges. On-Site Induction: Assist in conducting on-site inductions for new workers, ensuring they are aware of safety protocols, site-specific rules, and emergency procedures. Provide information about the construction site layout, restricted areas, and potential hazards to all personnel during the induction process. Access Control System Maintenance: Operate and maintain the access control system, ensuring it functions effectively at all times. Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues related to the access control system or badges. Security and Compliance: Monitor access points and ensure that only authorized personnel enter the site. Enforce access control policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment. Report any suspicious activities or security breaches to the appropriate authorities. Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with site managers, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth badge issuance and access control processes. Communicate effectively with construction workers, providing guidance and information as needed. Assist in coordinating with contractors, vendors, and visitors to ensure they have the required access permissions. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of badge issuance, site inductions, and any related incidents. Generate regular reports on badge issuance, access control system performance, and security-related matters. Qualifications and Requirements: Good level of English Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a construction environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of individuals. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in record-keeping and documentation. Proficiency in using access control systems and basic technical troubleshooting skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic construction environment.
