Job summary
Vimplo is an early-stage startup preparing to launch a tech-first platform in a high-growth, high-impact sector.
We're looking for a founding Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to oversee technical execution, shape our product vision, and help build a category-defining company from the ground up.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the technical development process alongside external software partners
Translate business goals into scalable architecture and infrastructure
Own key technical decisions across integrations, security, and product performance
Collaborate closely with the founding team on product strategy and prioritisation
Lay the foundation for future internal tech hires and development culture
Desired requirements
Have served as a CTO, Lead Engineer, or early technical hire at a startup or product company with a proven track record
Are experienced in building mobile-first platforms, especially those involving third-party integrations or real-time data
Understand how to balance speed, quality, and scalability
Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams
Have strong problem solving skills
Are curious, independent, and ready to own a significant part of a startup's future
