Mechanical Estimator

Mechanical Estimator We are currently recruiting a Mechanical Estimator for a leading Mechanical contractor to be based in their office in Mayo.
The successful Mechanical Estimator will play a key role in supporting the Estimation Manager and will work very closely with the Managing Director on prioritising projects to be priced and produce accurate project tenders for the selected projects.

Responsibilities: Reviewing drawings and documents of projects to be tendered.
Take-off of projects for tendering.
Assist in preparing accurate estimates for mechanical services, including HVAC and plumbing systems.
Review project plans and specifications to determine cost-effective solutions.
Prepare subcontract and materials inquiries, and review subsequent quotations.
Assist in preparing commercial aspects of tenders for senior management approval and client submission.
Attend site visits and client briefings, and collaborate on tender reviews and handovers.
Requirements: Relevant Mechanical qualification (Trade or Degree) or Commercial qualification.
3 Years+ experience in a similar role In depth knowledge of tendering processes within construction.
Must display excellent time management as time is of the essence when preparing BoQs.
Must be proficient in MS Office.
Knowledge and experience in one or more of these areas would be extremely beneficial: HVAC, Process Piping Systems, Chillers, & Building Services.
Benefits: €60,000 to €75,000 DOE Company Vehicle Excellent career progression opportunities.
