William Fry is seeking a dedicated and ambitious senior lawyer to join our dynamic top ranked Projects & Construction team at our Dublin office.
This team provides expert advice across complex commercial and large-scale residential development, transport, energy and infrastructure projects.
The Role
In this role you will be responsible for;
Playing a key role in a variety of complex transactions across diverse sectors including commercial development, residential projects, infrastructure, transport, and energy;
Providing advice on a variety of construction-related legal issues, project structuring, negotiation of construction contracts and professional team appointments, disputes and claims management, development aspects of financing arrangements as well as construction elements in corporate M&A transactions;
Drafting and negotiating key contracts and agreements for diverse project types; and
Playing a key role in servicing some of Ireland's largest and most complex construction projects, engaging with large Irish and global clients, including promoters, sponsors, developers, contractors and funders.
The Applicant
The Applicant shall;
Have a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE) within a reputable law firm or in-house legal team, with a focus on construction, energy, infrastructure and/or other major projects;
Be proficient in drafting and negotiating a wide range of industry standard form and bespoke form contracts and related documents with a solid understanding of market standards;
Be driven and ambitious and possess strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team;
Be focused on service excellence and have a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships; and
Have a strong interest in mentoring and developing junior lawyers on the team.
